Does the success of autonomous spacecraft and the rise of AI render human involvement in future space exploration unnecessary?

Ty QPG,

Even were AGI & autonomous swarms of robot space drones to take over space exploration tomorrow, they'd probably want to take a few humans, and maybe some other species along—heck why not a biosphere or two?

Probably not.

Why did Cartman love Heidi purely with heart, her being the first one he ever did, but then one day Butters tells him that all women are manipulative and then he began to believe that she was a bad person and pretended to be a victim?

Maybe not ‘necessary’ necessary, but still handy to bring along. How better to help young AI learn patience?
